Meet the team:
As one of the founders of Brightwave and Managing Director, Charles has more than ten years experience of designing and producing e-learning solutions. After a career with Epic Group as an Instructional Designer and later as Producer, he then spent two years with BT as a Content Manager in their Internet and Multimedia services division where he was responsible for online learning alliances. Before starting up Brightwave, Charles was a Principal Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers working at a senior level with a number of large organisations designing and implementing enterprise-wide e-learning strategies. Charles has an MBA from London Business School.
Virginia is one of the most experienced production directors in the e-learning industry with some 20 years working with the Epic Group, the BBC, Video Arts, Interactive Media Systems and many others, including 12 years as a freelance consultant. Her projects have included educational work for HarperCollins, the BBC, and the Foreign & Commonwealth office; information programmes for Ford, Honda and Littlewoods; medical training for the Royal Veterinary College , Mosby Publishing, and Glaxo as well as a range of other coaching and training programmes for a wide selection of blue chip corporates.
With nearly 15 years experience of designing and implementing e-learning solutions, Lars is responsible for driving Brightwave's sales and marketing strategy. He has worked with a wide range of organisations including The Royal Bank of Scotland, American Express, British Airways, Goldman Sachs, BOC Group, European Space Agency, BUPA Healthcare and BT. Previously with Epic Group, Lars played a key role in the highly successful e-learning services now in place at The Royal Bank of Scotland. This implementation is increasingly being regarded as a world-class example of best practice in the field and in its tremendous impact on business performance.
