Following the addition of multiple new client contracts and extensive project and product growth, workplace learning specialist, Brightwave has recently announced appointments for several new roles to assist future expansion.
"In the past 12 months Brightwave has invested in step growth including a doubling of staff. These new appointments enable Brightwave to extend the high level of service and innovation our clients expect." explained Charles Gould, Managing Director of Brightwave.
Cheryl Clemons has joined Brightwave in a new role as Director of Communications to drive innovation and business development within the organisation.
Client Management now has an additional Project Account Manager, Iain Dunnett, along with new Project Coordinators, Erika Edwards, Elizabeth Partington and Liz Lamb who will assist the Project Account Managers on a daily basis.
New additions have also been made in both the Instructional Design team, with the appointment of Krista Woodley, Senior Instructional Designer, and the Technical department, with the addition of new developer, Gavin Draper.
Gould concludes "Following our success, which resulted from our focus on excellence, we are in an exciting position to take advantage of the growing demand for online training solutions."
Cheryl Clemons
Formerly a Director of Wired Sussex, which supports 1000 digital media companies, Cheryl has 15 years experience of using digital technologies to enable positive change. She has developed successful communication strategies, awareness raising campaigns and business support networks for both private and public sectors (BT, Business Link, DTI, Learn Direct, Kuoni Travel).
Iain Dunnett
Iain has 14 years experience in e-learning production with clients in both the private and public sectors. These range from banks such as Barclays, RBS and LloydsTSB, to utilities such as Centrica and EDF, through to government bodies DWP, Inland Revenue, the MoD and Ministry of Justice. Before joining Brightwave, Iain has successfully managed and led teams within Epic and Kineo.
Erika Edwards
Erika has 15 years experience working within the New Media industry. Erika has worked for New Media companies such as Victoria Real, where she project managed the very first Big Brother web site (2000) which won awards for being the biggest web cast in the world, and worked with Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine on the production of their Ready2Shop Website, amongst other high profile clients. Erika gained experience in ISO:9001 whilst working at Epic at the start of her career. At Brightwave Erika has worked with clients such as Bupa, Swiss Re, HSBC, and the City of Edinburgh Council.
Elizabeth Partington
Elizabeth has spent four years working in various project support roles; prior to Brightwave as a project administrator for a large construction and design company. She has worked on projects for both the public and private sector including the Training Development Agency and BBC Learning Zone.
Liz Lamb
After completing her Psychology degree, Liz has worked at Brightwave in a variety of roles, developing skills in writing, development, QA and testing, in particular working on projects for Bupa, EDF, ATOC, Hays, BT, and Sky. As a project coordinator Liz is therefore able to contribute actively to all stages of the project.
Gavin Draper
Gavin's first five years of software development were spent developing accounting/reservation software for airlines. He then worked for a health and safety company in the e-learning department, where he was part of the team responsible for developing a new online LMS/CMS and maintaining the courseware specializing in .Net/SQL development. He is responsible for developing and maintaining courseware, BILD and BIT.
Krista Woodley
Krista has over eight years' experience of designing and writing e-learning courses. She has worked with both private and public sector clients, including EDF Energy, BP, Marks & Spencer, Barclays, the MoJ and the NHS.
