Need to train staff quickly to ensure they are productive?
Billions of pounds are spent every year in the UK on IT systems: new systems, systems implementations, systems integrations, systems upgrades. Yet the yield on this investment depends heavily on the ability of staff to operate these systems efficiently.
All too often the scale of investment in the build and deployment of these systems is undermined by the lack of investment in effective and sustained training for the people expected to use them.
Is your investment in IT systems optimised by a suitable commitment to systems training?
How effective is the training you use – does it really ensure that the systems are being used properly by the right people?
Brightwave has developed computer-based systems training for dozens of large organisations, used by hundreds of thousands of people.
Our approach is designed to:
We try to integrate systems training into the wider job role as far as possible through a range of simulation scenarios that set the learner realistic assignments that can only be accomplished by operating the system correctly. If they have a strong active learning style and want to learn by getting stuck in, they can choose a ‘Try It’ option which simulates the real system – providing they do the right things. If the learner has more of a reflective or theoretical learning style, they might want to choose ‘Show Me’, a guided route through the task supported by an instructional 'narrative'.
Some of the clients we have developed systems training for include:
If your organisation is involved in large-scale system implementations, get in touch with us through enquiries@brightwave.co.uk and we'll make sure that it won't fail through poor training.
